Our system uses an EPA approved disinfectant by the CDC, Vital Oxide. Second to none, it is even perfectly safe for babies and small children, as well as your furry friends. For over 14 years, King of Clean has had your safety in mind, and disinfecting your homes for the past 5 years is no different.
For our scientific geeks, Vital Oxide contains chlorine dioxide, a gas chemical used in some water treatment plants. Chlorine Dioxide has been used to eradicate many serious harmful and even deadly contaminants such as Bacillus Anthracis, the natural occurring compound for anthrax. Chlorine Dioxide is used in hospitals to treat the MRSA virus, Aids, Murine Hepatitis Virus (MHV), and other serious life-threatening viruses. Chlorine Dioxide must be used in small amounts, or it can be harmful just like chlorine bleach. Unlike bleach, Chlorine Dioxide is noncorrosive and does not leave a nasty smell. The only time it has been noted to leave an odor is when it is used on surfaces that have previously used chlorine bleach. The smell dissipates but this is not preventable as it is the bleach that creates the smell. The chemical composition has minimal impact on the environment therefore it contains no ozone harming compounds.
So, what is our process and how does it work? Great question! Using Vital Oxide in the manner we do creates a double positive charge and thus bonds to areas it touches while wrapping around and seeping in-between and underneath areas you normally cannot or may be difficult to reach. The process negatively charges 99% of all areas. Due to the process and equipment, this is a far superior way to protect your home and/or office by ensuring all areas are reached. The disinfectant we use leaves a bright, fresh, laundry aroma rather than a burning bleach odor. Safe for pets! Safe for you!
